FIFA World Cup 2026: Stories From The Cities
FIFA World Cup 2026: Stories From The Cities is a 16-part documentary series, uncovering the untold football stories from the cities hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. In each episode, presenter Jenny Chiu teams up with a local expert to explore the city’s authentic spirit - from food, music, and culture to hidden gems and must-see spots. Through a series of individual features, we tap into the shared excitement for the World Cup by accessing the thriving soccer culture within that city - grassroots clubs, youth programmes, local celebrities, and everyday heroes who live and breathe the game.

In my role as Series Producer, I was closely involved in every stage of the production process, from early ideation and story development through to working with contributors, location planning, shoot organisation, edit producing and final delivery across all 16 episodes.
I also travelled to the United States and Canada to direct four episodes myself, alongside edit producing eight of the 16 episodes.
The project gave me the opportunity to work in a hands-on way throughout, regularly shooting second camera on location, developing and executing creative ideas, and contributing to the edit across most episodes.
The series was distributed globally across FIFA’s broadcast partners and released on their own streaming platforms, reaching a wide international audience.
